Last evening I watched a one part of the documentary on China Rises - Food is Heaven. I was really impressed by the impact that China's growth is having on its food supply (and water for that matter). China, as we know, is feeling both the joy and pain from its success. This particular video highlights some of those struggles of shrinking farmland, using heavily polluted water for irrigation and consumption, and the importance of food within China and the world. The other three chapters in the series deal with Politics, Society, and the Economy.
I did some investigating and found that the series is available for purchase via amazon.com. I am looking for additional viewing options.
